About Us

Abu Dhabi Aquatics Club is an Abu Dhabi-based sports club that manages and organizes aquatic events, including championships, leagues, and events in the UAE. Established in 2021 and headquartered in the city of Abu Dhabi, the club works with all stakeholders to strengthen, promote, and advance talent in aquatic sports. The club was established under the supervision of Abu Dhabi Sports Council with a mission to accelerate the development of world-class swimmers and aquatic sports athletes in the UAE.

“Established in 2021 under the supervision of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the Abu Dhabi Aquatics Club launched with a clear objective; to enrich the knowledge and further expertise in aquatic sports, delivering professional training to identify and nurture promising Emirati talents and propel them to Olympic success.

Our mission extends to organizing aquatic events, fostering a culture of sportsmanship and ethics among all generations of swimmers in the emirate. Through meticulous training, we nurture athletes in swimming and aquatic sports, and contribute to building a robust aquatic society. We focus on engaging the potential and enthusiasm of youth through innovative sports programs, training camps, educational courses, and workshops that cater to all members in the community.

We draw inspiration from the cultural affinity for aquatic activities that are intertwined with the Arabian Gulf and Abu Dhabi’s coastlines — which have historically played a pivotal role in imparting swimming and diving skills through generations.

To maintain international standards, we organize professional workshops, enhancing the proficiency of coaches, technical personnel, and administrative staff. This equips them to effectively guide and mentor sports teams, aligning with the core objectives and values of the Abu Dhabi Aquatics Club.

Furthermore, the Abu Dhabi Aquatics Club actively partners with local and international sports entities, facilitating the exchange of insights and knowledge. These collaborations bolster participation and representation of the UAE in international swimming competitions, with aspirations of raising the UAE flag on the Olympic stage.
